The inn is attached to a welcoming pub, where you can enjoy delicious hot meals and award-winning beers, brewed on-site at The Big Lamp Brewery.
Just next door, you'll find the Newburn Leisure Centre, offering a gym and sports facilities. If you're into outdoor adventures, there are plenty of walking and cycling trails in the nearby country park. Plus, there are golf courses, fishing spots, and even two rowing clubs close by, making it the perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts!

Walltown Country Park, nestled along Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland National Park, is a beautiful spot full of history and nature.
About 45 years ago, this was a bustling quarry where workers blasted whinstone (the stone that forms the crag of Hadrian’s Wall) to use for road building. But after the quarry closed in 1976, the area was transformed. It was filled in, landscaped, and planted with trees and flowers, turning it into a peaceful sanctuary for wildlife.
Now, it's a wonderful place to explore, run around, and take in the stunning views of the countryside. You can even feed the ducks that happily swim in the park’s calm waters, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing day out.
