Key Requirements:

• Cask Ale Expertise: The ideal candidate will hold a current Cask Marque certificate, with a deep understanding of cask ale service and maintenance.

It is a high-volume, destination pub with a stunning canalside location, offering a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors. It combines great food, quality drinks, and exceptional service with a strong focus on community engagement and live events.

This venue would suit an entrepreneurial Operator with proven track record of managing high-volume sites, with sales of up to £50k per week. 

Strong kitchen management skills, ensuring smooth and efficient food operations.

Ability to plan and execute large-scale festivals & outdoor events in a pub setting.

A traditional community ale house offering a wide range of cask ales, world beers, wines and spirits where extra income comes from a function room and tap room take overs. Site also benefits from sports home and away teams, and offers a strong ROTW with live entertainment at weekends. 

The successful applicant will grow the business further in the cask ale sector and work with local breweries to build relationships and host tap take over nights. Also the function room can be utilised more often to help income with weekly / monthly events and holding community and party events. 

We are looking to partner with an experienced operator who can work with all of the revenue streams and maximise the trading potential across the year. You will be resilient and energetic. You will have an entrepreneurial outlook, always looking for ways to grow the business, for which you will be rewarded accordingly.

Valiant cover all operating expenses with the exception of staff wages and council tax for the private quarters. You will earn a percentage of the net take paid weekly. We will agree an operating plan with you, in which you have autonomy to deliver across all revenue streams

Accommodation is available with two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen & bathroom, unfurnished.

We are searching for an experienced operator to partner with in one of our recently refurbished pubs.  Featuring a traditional bar, commercial kitchen, dining area, modern beer garden and outside bar everything is in place for the right person to succeed.

Valiant will cover operating costs including all stock, utilities, business rates and marketing spend.  You will be responsible for all staff wages and associated benefits and taxes, as a self-employed operator. 

Together, we will agree an operating plan with you and provide you with the tools to succeed, including a competitive range of drinks and food, marketing and regular support from our Business Development Manager and Head Office teams. 

We are looking for someone with energy, drive and an entrepreneurial mindset to maximise the potential of the premises, which has been refurbished to a very high standard throughout.

As an additional incentive we will also pay you a guaranteed monthly bonus of £3000 during the first 12 months for achieving the agreed operational plan.

The pub is a live-in opportunity with it’s own 3 bedroom flat.

We are searching for experienced, community focused Pub Operators in Cardiff and the surrounding area. We have a number of pubs which have either had a full refurbishment or have one in the pipeline and we are looking to find great operators to drive them forwards.

These are wet-led only sites that have a strong rhythm of the week activity to help maximise revenue with regular quiz nights, bingo and more. There is a strong emphasis on team sports such as pool, darts and skittles, so we are looking for motivated operators who are ready to engage with locals, plan charity days and family fun days.

Our operator managed business model offers living accommodation on-site, a percentage of weekly net sales and target driven bonus and incentives.

The site boasts restaurant, pub trading area, bedrooms and function space.
